This was my second retreat at Casa Rosa and this year was as magical as the last, with additional bonuses of lightening to add to the stars and fireflies and Aqualates (I forgot my costume last year!) It was also very educational – I can now identify a nightjar and talk authoritatively on the life-cycle of a firelfy as well as knowing how to make lavender bottles. I’m now off to dead head my roses following the instructions given to me by Cassie. It seems an appropriate activity for someone returning from a splendid week at Casa Rosa
